The exhibition was financially supported by the Republic of Slovenia Government's Office for Slovenians Abroad. The exhibition is a result of the applied research project Creation of Memory and Preservation of Cultural Identity among Slovenian Emigrants and Their Descendents (2009–2012, project no. L6-2203), which was co-financed from the state budget by the above-mentioned Government's Office and by the Slovenian Research Agency.
